  • Safe the date international workshop on Management of Peritoneal Surface Malignancy

    21.02.2017 04:23:23

The combination of cytoreductive surgery (CRS) and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) as a treatment for peritoneal metastases is becoming ever more significant for both palliative and curative cancer treatment. In order to bring the greatest possible benefit to the patient, both careful pre¬operative selection and also standardized perioperative management are crucial.

The Koch Mechnikov Forum Workshop "Management of Peritoneal Surface Malignancy" aims to discuss evidence-based clinical decision-making in the management of primary and secondary peritonal cancer and will offer a multidisciplinary program combining both practical aspects and theoretical problems.

Technical and clinical approaches will be revisited and updated. Presentations will include the state of the art and latest advancements, videos with tips and tricks by the experts in the field, and case reports. The workshop ist limited to a small number of participants (first come—first serve).
