Viktoria Vladimirovna Dvornichenko, president of the Regional Cancer Center, has devoted her entire life to oncology. In 1972, Victoria Dvornichenko graduated with honors from the Irkutsk State Medical Institute, choosing oncology as a medical specialty, and her place of work - the Irkutsk Regional Cancer Center. Over the years of her work in the hospital, she performed 60687 operations, published more than 500 scientific papers and 3 monographs, implemented 11 rationalization proposals, 10 patents for her inventions are used in the treatment of cancer. On September 22, 1995, Victoria Vladimirovna became the chief physician of the hospital and worked in this position for 25 years.
Today, as the president of this medical organization, she still devotes all her time and energy to her work. One of the main priorities of her current activity is the education and training of personnel for the Cancer Center, because Victoria Dvornichenko is still the head of the department of oncology and radiation therapy at Irkutsk State Medical University and the head of the oncology department of the Irkutsk State Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. She is also engaged in the realization of such unique projects as the creation of the East Siberian Center of Nuclear Medicine on the basis of the Cancer Center and the formation of a medical cluster in the Irkutsk region.
