The medical physicist of the Cancer Center took the third place in the quiz at the "QADS Russia" symposium.

QADS Russia, which took place in early September in Moscow, is an educational medical physics conference dedicated to practical ways to improve the quality and safety of exposure in radiation oncology. During this symposium one could learn about the latest news in the field of medical physics, get acquainted with the experience of colleagues from various medical institutions in Russia, share their own developments and network. Vitaly Platonov, a medical physicist of the Department of Radiotherapy No. 1 of the Regional Cancer Center, took part in it.

More than three dozen medical physicists from all over Russia took a quiz on quality assurance and dosimetry in radiation therapy, which was held as part of the symposium. Participants in this competition must give correct answers to eighteen difficult questions to demonstrate the high level of expertise in quality assurance of radiation therapy and dosimetry sessions. In this competition, Vitaly Platonov took third place. Congratulations to our colleague!
